There are many different approaches we can use to address your unique situation. After a period of evaluation, I will offer recommendations to help you achieve your goals. Talk therapy is often essential to help you reach your best outcome, especially if you might be noticing any unhealthy patterns that can interfere with your ability to live a fuller, more meaningful life in general.
At times, you can benefit from medication as well. We may use both talk therapy and medicine in your treatment. Everyone’s needs are different. Your personalized treatment plan will be a result of our collaboration.
What will happen at our first appointment? At my office, I’ll ask you to share what is happening in your life that has brought you in to see me. We will talk about how you are feeling and what you think is not working for you in your life. We’ll try to become comfortable with each other.
During our session, I will listen, observe, and clarify what you’ve told me. Together, we will discuss your goals and find a treatment plan to reach them. We may need a few sessions to fully address your goals and plan, so we can view the first session as a good start on your journey.
